Operating Brief
This workbook keeps the active ecosystem, the current legal entity, and the close status in one restrained summary before you descend into ledgers, imports, and filings.
An ecosystem is a container for related or independent companies. Each company has its own entity type, fiscal year, chart of accounts, and data. All companies share the same global Chart of Accounts (customizable in Workspace Setup).
Create restore points before major changes. These are stored locally and can be restored at any time.
Manage the global Chart of Accounts and workspace settings. These apply to all companies in all ecosystems. Per-company settings (entity type, fiscal year, etc.) are configured in the Companies tab.
The standard Chart of Accounts is automatically loaded and shared across all companies. You can add custom accounts below or edit existing ones.
Create a new account to extend the standard COA.

Export or import your entire workspace (all ecosystems, companies, and transactions). Backup frequently for safety.
Saved restore points from the local workbook server appear here.

Manage journal entries: approve staged entries from imports, create manual entries, or view approved ledger.
Entries imported from files or auto-generated from stock/bond transactions are held here for review before approval. Check entries for correctness, edit if needed, or approve all at once.
No staged journal entries.
Bank transactions imported via CSV are listed here. Match them to existing journal entries or create new ones.
No staged bank transactions.
All approved journal entries in your ledger, organized by date. These entries drive all financial reports.

Admit CSV, Excel, ODS, TSV, or JSON ledgers from files or whole folders. Intake now traverses dropped directory trees, normalizes every document into a common staging session, and carries learned corrections forward through the saved ecosystem.
1. Raw Collection Hold: Add as many source files as you want before normalization begins; reference sheets are retained for classification context.
2. Normalization Hold: Every field is normalized with fuzzy logic so dates, amounts, counterparty text, institutions, categories, and IDs can reinforce each datapoint.
3. Deduplication Hold: Cross-file duplicates are clustered and removed before any propagation is allowed.
4. Relation Mapping Hold: Each accepted datapoint is mapped to statement lines, cash-flow buckets, and account codes so propagation is visible before journal staging.
5. Journal Staging Hold: Generated entries remain staged until you commit them for the normal journal review/approval flow.
Export your entire accounting workbook with formulas preserved. Files include all ledgers, statements, and schedules ready to use in Excel, Google Sheets, or LibreOffice.
Every statement refreshes from the approved ledger immediately. Income statement, balance sheet, and not-for-profit activities now default to a condensed four-quarter ledger so comparative reading happens in one pane instead of one period at a time.
