The ecosystem develops infrastructure assets and public-good civic workspaces through a dual-entity structure that separates for-profit capital deployment from public-good operations while sharing a technical substrate.
RE Corporation (for-profit) deploys patient capital into infrastructure assets requiring no promised liquidity event. AST Not-for-Profit Corporation (501(c)(3)) operates zero-tracking, zero-analytics, community-governed civic workspaces. The six-entity cross-ownership (RË Corp, Pluoton Corp, Enki's Kairos, Hermes Trismegistus, Phronesis Wave, Ast) with Act 60 tax incentives and non-dilution constraint enables this separation.
An asset or workspace is assigned to RE Corp or AST NFP based on its capital purpose, not its technical stack. Shared systems—UCIP validation architecture, Supercomputing mesh, Phronesis middle office, hive-mind knowledge graph, provider router, and A2A hub—serve both entities without conflating their capital purposes. This structural boundary prevents cross-subsidization and ensures fiduciary duties align with each entity's mission.
AST NFP civic workspaces (Ast, Boriquén, RPG, Ancient General) provide durable, verifiable public-good infrastructure with federal eligibility (NSF Smart & Connected Communities, HUD CDBG, NEA, IMLS, NHPRC). They operate with zero tracking, no analytics, and no third-party scripts beyond shared Nodo navigation. RE Corp's patient capital enables long-term development of infrastructure assets, with returns via operating revenue, asset value, and equity appreciation, without relying on public-good workspaces for lead generation.
Nodo Design Group — the root design studio — is a DBA of RË Corporation, never a separate corporation, and serves as the ecosystem's initial liquidity source.
